FarmVille Players Its time for the County fair Contests. Hope you remember our post, almost 2 months ago we showed you a sneak peek of this feature! Finally Zynga and FarmVille are just about to start this County Fair Contests. And if you are one with a competitive spirit and a never say die attitude, then this new feature is bound to get you interested. The County Fair is where you will train your animals (by feeding them Mulch), and then make them take part in a competition and see if they win... There are various tiers of the contests and various animals that will take part... The Horses, Cows, Chicken, Sheep and Pigs will all take part in this contest and a win will allow them to enhance to the next level of competition...

To put it in game terms, there are 6 rounds in these games, and each round needs to be played and completed with each of the 5 categories of animals (Horses, Cows, Chicken, Sheep and Pigs)... You are their trainer, and you feed them different types of Mulch (which can be got from harvesting various crops) to make sure they are ready for competition... Once ready, they compete and if you win, you get to keep the animal... Once all the 5 categories of animals win the same tier, you get promoted to the next tier and also get a bonus for completing the tier...

Below is a chart that lists the different Tiers, the animals, the quantity of Mulch required for each animal (info under trial), and also the Bonus prize for winning in the entire Tier... Also, includes the Mulch Stability value, which means, how much time the mulch will stay before it expires and you will need to collect more mulch…

Well, you might now be wondering where do we get the Mulch, and what happens if the animal loses the competition? We have some answers here... If any animal loses the contest, you have 2 options... You can either feed it more mulch and get it ready again... Else, you can pay some FC and allow it to compete again without feeding more mulch... Another Farm cash option is to guarantee a win (Bribe?) by paying some FC...

Lets get to the Mulch now... There are 5 different types of Mulch as mentioned in the above table... Where do you get the mulch from? Well, harvesting specific crops will reward you with Mulch, just like you get Bushels... Once you have enough Mulch, you will be notified to use it to feed the respective animal and get it ready for the contest... Below is a table of the different Mulch, and what to harvest to get them...
